"Black Wings" Eye Look

How to create this look:
Draw a thick line using liquid eyeliner on the top lid, and pull it out to create your desired wing. Apply 3 coats of your choice of mascara to the top lashes, and 2 coats of waterproof mascara to the bottom lashes. Rub a black khol pencil underneath your bottom lashes to create a darkened effect, and then apply 1 more coat of waterproof mascara to the bottom lashes.

Dramatic Double-winged Eye Look

Products used: Estee Lauder Double Wear Liquid Eyeliner in Black, MAC Feline Eye Pencil, Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Mascara in Black-tastic.

Use liquid eyeliner to do your top lashline with a normal wing. Then add a second wing above the main wing. Apply 3 coats of mascara on top and bottom lashes. Take an eye kohl and rub it underneath your bottom lashes and draw a line connecting your top liquid eyeliner to your bottom lashline. This really opens up the eye and makes it look bigger.

"Brownish" Smoky eye with small winged liner

Products used (in order): Urban decay potion eyeshadow primer on top lid, Urban Decay eyeshadow in Buck (all over lid), Urban Decay eyeshadow in Darkhorse (in crease and outer corner), (then blend using Ecotools blending brush), Estee Lauder Double Wear Liquid Eyeliner in Black, Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush mascara in Black-tastic.

Second Attempt: Exposed Hand Tendons

Second Attempt.
I may have to do a third attempt, and try to get the tendons to look exactly right. I think the Q-tip sticks on the first attempt were too stiff, and in this attempt, I used rolled up pieces of cotton. I think those were too flimsy.
Here's some pictures!

First Attempt Exposed Hand Tendons

This was my first attempt...
I used glue, cotton, toilet paper, red food coloring, fake blood, black eyeshadow, white body crayon, and the sticks of q-tips.

I know that it looks pretty bad and has zero depth. But it's my first try, and I was figuring out how to do it myself without a tutorial.

Here's pics! :)

And... Another Bloodied Face

Pics!!

Freckles!!

I've always liked freckles. When I was in kindergarten, my best friend had freckles covering her entire face. I actually remember her saying one time that they were "angel kisses", and from that point on I was totally jealous.
So today, I thought "Why can't I have freckles? Nothing is stopping me!!" So I took my eyebrow pencil and drew tiny polka-dots all over my face. It kinda looks like freckles, and kinda looks like a bad case of acne. You can decide.

Scar: First attempt

This is my first attempt EVER at using makeup to create a scar. It's a lot harder than I thought. Most of the "wound stuff" I do with makeup is relatively fresh-looking.
Anywho, here's some pics. I know it's not the best, but I thought I'd share it anyway.

Various Special FX makeup

I was bored on a Sunday afternoon and I was messing around with my makeup. These were the results. ;)

This one is just a couple scratches along the side of the face.

This one is a gross looking bloody skin thing. I don't even really know. :)

Another shot of the scratches on the side of the face, and also a scratch running on the bottom lid of the eye.

ANOTHER shot of the face scratches. This one looks less realistic, because the top one is kinda thick and doesn't run smoothly.

I had fun with this one... they're sorta "skeleton nostrils" I guess. :) I'll post another pic below of these.

"Plain Jane" Makeup Look

This makeup look was inspired by some ad I saw for Fresh Cosmetics, (www.sephora.com/Fresh) that said something along the lines of  "The new look: Glossy Lashes and Nude Lips." I thought, huh, that sounds kind of super minimal... but I think I'll try it.
So, I used my favorite concealer, Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer, to cover my ugly under-eye circles. Then I used my Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick to cover up any acne, and then used my Covergirl Transelucent Fair powder to set it. I used e.l.f. Bronzer on my cheekbones. I then put two coats of Mary Kay LashLove Mascara in the color "I heart black" to my top and bottom lashes. I filled in my brows with Maybelline BrowStudio Brow Pencil in the color Blond. Lastly, I put on a thin layer of Original Chapstick and a few coats of MAC Creme d'Nude lipstick. I painted my fingernails black to try to add a little edge to the look.
Here's some pics. :)

"Female to Male" Makeup attempt

I still look way too much like myself here, but I think it was worth a post. :)

I used a blonde brow pencil and some black eyeliner. I used the brow pencil to fill in my brows to make them look heavy, exaggerated, and straight. I also used it to create a sort of "sideburn" thing going on, and also the moustache-beard thingy. I blended black eyeliner into the beard and moustache to make it look darker. I blended black eyeliner in under by eyes to give myself dark under-eye circles.

Hunger Games Capitol Inspired Makeup

ALSO: I give Chrissy credit for inspiring the swirls. :)

Burned Face Makeup

Here are some various pics of makeup replicating a "burned face." I used black lipstick, red food coloring, loose mineral powder, a hairdryer, and a whole lotta glue.

^yeah... sorry about my face there in this pic. didn't realize I was in it. -.-

^oh look, I'm in this one too. sorry. :)

MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF15 Review

MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15 in the color Petting Pink is a pinky lip balm with a slightly glossy sheen. It's a pretty sheer formula, and sometimes can accentuate super flaky lips, and if you put too much on, it goops up on your lips. It is in a little jar, so you have to either use your fingers or a lip brush to put it on. Since the color is sheer, I usually just smack it on with my finger, because it's easy to touch up if you get ouside of the lines.
This isn't a super moisturizing choice if you have dry lips. You may want to use a lip scrub and maybe a little Chapstick before putting this on.
Overall it's good, and pretty natural looking. And there's quite a lot of product in the jar.
Below are some photos, be sure to check them out. Thanks! :)
